Surrey Hills Four

The Brief

To design a contemporary renovation to an existing 1940s clinker brick home incorporating natural light and storage options for a family of five. They needed an extra bathroom, study and updated kitchen and laundry.

Response

Re-working the floor plan we created a Master wing including large WIR and ensuite as well as a separate study and sitting room. Aluminium picture windows replaced worn timber ones, allowing an abundance of natural light. Clean lines were used for joinery design, keeping the palette neutral but warm with soft furnishing layers. Creative storage ideas were introduced. All images via Lisa Atkinson Photography.
