I shared the newly installed pineapple wallpaper in the girls’ powder room on Instagram and FB this week. This Rifle Paper Co wallpaper has been on my wish list for a while now, I love the colour palette (and the pineapples!) and thought it would be perfect for this small space. I included a round window to add another quirky element.
I hadn’t yet had the opportunity to visit the new Canvas and Sasson showroom, so I popped in this week. Their new range of lamps and cushions are colourful and co-ordinate easily.
Friday’s Favourites this week features the beautiful Chicago home of Giuliana and Bill Rancic. They engaged the expertise of interior designer Lonni Paul to recreate this 1880s brownstone home. The sitting room has a soft blue palette with traditional fabrics. The bright artwork is unexpected and creates drama.
The classic and stylish kitchen is designed for entertaining. It features a Calacutta marble bench and splash back, and gorgeous polished chrome pendants.
The master bedroom has a dramatic vaulted ceiling with silk wallpaper in the couple’s favourite colour….blue. The window treatments are soft and layered. I love the white bone inlay mirrors.
The two storey master bath/closet suite leaves me speechless! Light flows through the glass opening in the ceiling between the two. The luxe ensuite has ‘his’ and ‘her’ vanities, an upholstered ottoman and double shower. There is so much to love about this space.
The library is my favourite room. It feels cosy with its grey grasscloth walls, built in joinery and smaller proportions.

Have a lovely weekend.
