I love this time of year for so many reasons as I’m sure most of you do. I really enjoy the colours of Christmas, in the decorations, lights, gift wrap….. The Christmas tree will always bring some cheerful colour into the home. I have usually stuck to the more traditional red and green myself with a bit of colour thrown in from the kids’ ‘kindermade’ decorations. I dream of doing a less traditional theme one day, maybe in the new home. Here are some images that inspire me, some from my Pinterest board (here) and some from my recent NYC trip.
Traditional:
Neutrals:

Blue:
This beauty stood in the entrance of Tiffany & Co. on 5th Ave. It was great to see a similar one outside the Tiffany store at Chadstone Shopping Centre this year.
Turquoise:
Purple:
Brights:
More Macy’s trees. This one looked more like an Aussie summer theme!
